Ramming Mass

Silica sand and quartzite based Ramming Masses are basically white powder based substances that have 2.2 gm.cc density. These are required during metal smelting process. These substances can be used under 2300 degree C refractory temperature. Known for having up to 6 mm grain size, these are totally protected against abrasion, erosion and thermal shock. Ramming Masses show good refractoriness and their mechanical strength deserves special mention. As suitable refractory materials, these prevent lining crack. These substances are suitable for intermittent or continuous casting procedure. Moreover, these are compatible with different metals.
